SIGNS YOUR ROOF NEEDS URGENT REPAIR

Some roof problems can wait for a dry week. Others are letting water into your building right now.

Call us if you spot:

  • Water staining a ceiling or wall, or a damp patch that's spreading

  • A drip, or worse, active water coming through during rain

  • Slipped, cracked or missing tiles or slates after wind

  • Lifted or split flat-roof felt, or ponding water that won't drain

  • Damaged or loose flashing around a chimney, valley or roof join

  • Debris, a fallen branch or storm damage after bad weather

Water finds the quickest way in and travels — so a small leak at the roof can show up as damage several feet away inside. The sooner it's made safe, the less it costs to put right.

HOW WE REPAIR A LEAKING OR STORM-DAMAGED ROOF

We work in two moves, and we're honest about why.

First, we make it safe. On an emergency call we get to you, find where the water is getting in, and carry out temporary weatherproofing — sheeting, sealing or a temporary cover — to stop the ingress and protect what's underneath. Making a roof safe is something we can do in most conditions.

Then we carry out the full repair. Once the roof is safe and conditions allow us to work at height properly, we complete the permanent fix — re-bedding or replacing tiles, renewing flashing, patching or re-covering a flat roof, or repairing the specific fault we found. We won't send someone up a ladder into a live storm or high wind to force a full repair — that's how people get hurt and how jobs get botched. Make it safe first, repair it properly second.

You'll get a clear explanation of what's wrong and what it needs — no jargon, no upsell to a new roof you don't need.

WHEN A REPAIR MEANS A BIGGER JOB

Sometimes a leak is a symptom, not the whole story. If we find the covering has reached the end of its life, or the problem is structural, we'll say so and set out the options:

  • A worn or failed flat roof may be better re-covered than patched again.

  • Widespread tile or slate failure can mean a re-roof rather than repeated repairs.

  • Not sure where the water's really coming from? A roof inspection traces the source and gives you a written report.

  • Overflowing or blocked guttering behind the leak? That's guttering repairs, not a roof repair we'll point you to the right fix.

ROOFING FAQs

See a list below of our frequently asked questions from our customers

Do you cover my area?

Yes: Rochester, Chatham, Gillingham, Maidstone, Strood, Sittingbourne, West Malling, Aylesford, Faversham and across Kent & Medway.

Can you help with an emergency roof leak?

Yes, see emergency roof repairs; call us and we'll get a roofer to you.

Do you do both flat and pitched roofs?

Both, plus re-roofs, guttering, and fascias and soffits.

My roof is leaking right now — what should I do?

Move anything valuable out from under the leak, put a bucket down, and call us. On an emergency call we, make the roof safe and stop the water getting in, then arrange the full repair.

How fast can you get to an emergency roof repair?

We aim to attend emergency leaks the same day across the ME area and out across Kent & Medway. We prioritise active leaks and storm damage.

Can you repair storm damage?

Yes, slipped and missing tiles, lifted felt, damaged flashing and storm-related leaks are everyday work for us.

Will you go up on the roof in bad weather?

We'll always come out and make your roof safe, but we won't carry out a full repair at height in a live storm or high wind it isn't safe and it isn't good work. We weatherproof it to stop the damage, then complete the permanent repair as soon as conditions allow.

Do you repair flat roofs as well as tiled roofs?

Both. For a flat roof that keeps failing, see flat roofing sometimes a re-cover is the better fix than another patch.

Which areas do you cover?

Rochester, Chatham, Gillingham, Maidstone, Strood, Sittingbourne, West Malling, Aylesford, Faversham and across Kent & Medway.
