Rapid 24/7 Emergency Response
No Call-out charge
When drain rods aren't enough, our high-pressure drain jetting service provides the powerful solution. At First Fix Response, we use professional high-pressure water jetting equipment to quickly remove stubborn blockages caused by fat, grease, silt, scale, wipes and tree roots. Unlike drain rods that simply create a small opening, drain jetting thoroughly cleans the inside of your pipes, restoring full flow and helping to prevent future blockages.
Whether you have a blocked drain at your home, business or commercial premises, our experienced local engineers use the correct pressure and equipment to safely clear your drainage system without causing damage.
Every job is completed by one of our trusted local drainage engineers—The First Fix Response team. We arrive fully equipped, explain the work required, and provide a fixed price before any work begins. There are no hidden charges and no call-out fees.
If you're looking for high-pressure drain jetting in Kent, Medway or the surrounding ME postcodes, contact First Fix Response today for a fast, reliable and professional service.

Drain jetting (also called high-pressure water jetting) sends a controlled jet of water down the drain through a specialist nozzle. The pressure breaks up the blockage and the water flushes it away, while the nozzle scours grease and build-up off the pipe walls. The result is a pipe that's properly clear, not one that blocks again in a fortnight. It's the same method the commercial sector uses, sized to the job in front of us.

From a one-off blockage to a collapsed pipe, here's everything our drainage team handled. Select any service to see how it works.

Grease and fat build-up that keeps coming back
Silt and debris in outside drains and gullies
Scale narrowing an older pipe
Root intrusion that rods can't cut through
Before a CCTV survey, to clean the pipe so the camera sees clearly

Scale, grease and mineral deposits harden onto the inside of a pipe over the years and slowly narrow it — so the drain runs slow even when nothing's actually blocking it. High-pressure jetting scours that build-up straight off the pipe walls and restores the full bore, so water flows properly again. For very hard, compacted scale in older cast-iron or pitch-fibre pipes, we step up to mechanical de-scaling to cut it back.

Done properly, no. The pressure and nozzle are matched to the pipe — a domestic clay or plastic drain is jetted very differently from a commercial cast-iron line.
We work to recognised water-jetting standards, and if a survey shows the pipe is already cracked or collapsed, we'll tell you and recommend a CCTV survey and the right repair rather than jet a failing pipe.
Honest assessment first, jetting second.
A named local engineer who lives and works in Kent and Medway — not a call centre. Plain talk, the right kit, no call-out charge, and the price agreed before we start.
If jetting reveals a bigger problem, we show you and explain the options; we don't upsell you on a hunch.

Fat, grease, food waste, silt, sediment, scale and tree roots — most things that rods can't shift, in domestic and small commercial drains alike.
For a property that blocks repeatedly — a busy kitchen, lots of trees nearby — a periodic jet as part of planned drain maintenance stops the emergencies before they start. Most homes only need it when there's a problem.
We can. If a drain keeps blocking, a CCTV survey after jetting shows whether the pipe itself is the cause — roots, a crack, a collapsed section — so it's fixed properly.
No. We don't charge just to turn up. You'll know the fixed price for the work before we start.
Yes, we offer professional CCTV drain surveys across Kent & Medway using advanced drainage camera equipment. CCTV surveys help identify blocked drains, damaged pipes, root ingress, collapsed drains and ongoing drainage problems without unnecessary excavation.
High-pressure drain jetting is a professional drain cleaning method that uses powerful water jets to remove grease, debris, scale, sludge and stubborn blockages from drainage systems. It is one of the most effective ways to restore proper drainage flow.
Yes, we provide drainage services for both residential and commercial customers across Kent & Medway. We work with homeowners, landlords, businesses, restaurants, offices, retail units and industrial properties.
Yes. Jetting scours scale and grease off the inside of the pipe, not just punch through a blockage — which restores the full width of the drain and keeps it flowing. Where the build-up is too hard for water alone, we use mechanical de-scaling instead.
You may need a CCTV drain survey if you experience recurring blocked drains, bad smells, slow drainage, suspected drain damage or ongoing drainage issues that cannot be identified externally. CCTV surveys allow us to inspect the inside of your drains and diagnose problems accurately.
Yes, all of our drainage engineers are fully insured, experienced and trained to carry out professional drainage services safely and effectively across Kent & Medway.
Yes, we provide professional drain repair services for damaged, cracked and collapsed drains. After identifying the issue, we can recommend the most effective repair solution to restore your drainage system.
Regular drainage maintenance can help prevent blocked drains. Avoid pouring grease down sinks, dispose of waste correctly, keep gutters clear and arrange routine drain cleaning or CCTV inspections if you experience recurring drainage issues.
It depends where the blockage is. A drain inside your boundary that only serves your property is usually yours; a shared or public sewer is the water company's. We'll tell you which it is when we're there, and point you to the right people if it's not yours.
That's a sign the pipe itself needs attention. We'll survey it with a camera and recommend the right repair — root removal, relining or, as a last resort, excavation.
